My new father-in-law is a very picky wine drinker. He only likes European dry white wine. Which wine do you think is the best?|||That's a tough one. Not many European whites are very dry. But for us, if we absolutely had to pick we would most often choose an Alsatian, either a pinot gris or a reisling.|||Try the Kim Crawford Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2006. It's from NZ, not Europe, but you can impress him by telling him it's #40 on the Wine Spectator top 100 list with 92 points.
